Fall is here!!!! or just about at least. Fishing at the Lake is on FIRE right now. We are catching nice fish every day, so book your trip now, before its over. Fall also means spawning Browns, and is generally the best time to catch your first big brown of the year. Call us at the shop to book your trip. 706-738-4536. Plan ahead, because the days are filling up fast. These trips will be professionally guided on our AIRE Super Puma raft with a custom NRS fishing frame(see pic). Up to two people can enjoy a comfortable fishing experience catching trout, smallmouth, striper and shad. This is a great way to enjoy the wonderful outdoors in our own backyard. If you are visiting from out of town and find yourself without a ticket to the tournament, call us and we can keep you busy catching fish until coverage starts that afternoon. All trips include lunch and drinks.

Saluda River, March 22nd. Walker and I took Peyton to the Saluda in search of trout and a new take-out. Finding both, Walker couldn’t set the hook on at least half – the largest of which obviously got away (an 18 inch brown trout) just before take-out. Overall it was a good trip and we are looking forward to booking another trout trip only an hour away.
